Achiezer COVID-19 Update Wednesday 3/25 4PM
March 25, 2020
Dear Community,

As the week moves forward and many of us become acclimated to the new reality, below are some pertinent updates for you all.

As a reminder, the best way to remain protected from the coronavirus is to stay at home. If you must venture outdoors, please be careful and practice social distancing. Our last correspondence contained comprehensive guidelines on quarantining. We urge everyone to read these in their entirety, especially as more people go in and out of quarantine and each individual situation changes.

Last night we posted a short informative video from Stacey Zrihen, Senior Financial Advisor at Achiezer's Westwood Financial Management Program. Stacey gave tips on how to properly prepare a budget during the current pandemic. If you missed it, you can view it on our home page.

For those who are stuck at home and looking for something meaningful to do with their time, Achiezer has initiated a new program matching up elderly at home with families. If you want to participate in this program, please contact dtaub@achiezer.org.

We hope your children have been enjoying the daily programming that so many talented individuals in the community have contributed to. Tune in this afternoon at www.achiezer.org/kids for a kumzitz with the one and only Eli Levin!

We wish to remind you that Achiezer operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for urgent matters. You can reach us by calling (516) 791-4444. Additionally, we have established a special task force comprised of various medical professionals prepared to answer any quarantine related or non-urgent medical questions related to COVID-19. This task force can be reached at covid19@achiezer.org or (919)727-4747.

With wishes for good health for all of klal yisrael,

Team Achiezer
